HDPE is a good barrier to moisture but a poor barrier to Oxygen/odors.  HDPE has good impact resistance.  It is resistant to acids and caustics, but not compatible with solvents. Do not use with essential oils.
 
These bottles are white and opaque.
 
Pressure-sensitive liners are best suited for dry products like powders, pills, tablets, and capsules.  They should not be used with liquids.
